Xhale

Ann Ward, founder of Xhale has a deep spiritual connection with nature.

She inherited her great love of the landscape from her mother, whose birthplace was on the volcanic mountain of Slieve Gullion, nestled in between a number of sacred sites.

Ann has practiced meditation for over 25 years. As a result she has created immersive,  experiences, courses and retreats using the gifts of meditation and nature.

Ann is an Accredited Meditation Teacher; a Certified Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) Guide & Forest Therapy Practitioner; and has a Diploma in Personal, Executive and Business Coaching.

She has a rich tapestry of experience within the health, education, arts, community, public, private and tourism sectors. Personal empowerment is at the heart of all of her work, where she offers transformative experiences and programmes tailored to support individual and organisational wellness. This also contributes to the health of the planet, through the link between nature connection and conservation. Ann has an MSC in Communications, which included research in rural Kenya and also studied conflict transformation at Columbia University, New York City. She was a lecturer for 8 years with the Southern Regional College. Her personal journey to health has been guided by nature and is a consultant with the National Trust.
