Learn how to Meditate

Meditation is the greatest gift you can give yourself or a loved one to support stress prevention.  This course is for people new to meditation and those who wish to refresh their practice. It can be delivered in outreach venues.

Meditation Coach Ann will share practical techniques to support you in nurturing a meditation practice. When we are living in the present moment, our minds are liberated from thoughts about the past or the future.  In the present moment there is no fear or anxiety.

You will learn:

  • About the many physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of meditation
  • How to use the gifts of meditation and nature to support you to connect to the present moment
  • How to develop a calm but alert state of mind,  where the body is relaxed and the mind is focused but at rest
  • How to develop tools to quieten your mind using the natural resources of the breath, body and senses to connect to the present moment
  • How to use everyday activities to support your practice through walking and eating meditation practice
